Losing cells because new cards are locked

Not a fan of losing earned cells at the end of a run because the cards are locked until a new biome opens up. I just had a great run, lost against the concierge, tried to spend my 15 cells only to learn that I can't use them on anything. Is there a way to bank them or would that be too much trouble? Anyways, it is what it is.

Yeah...true. I used to have, like, 10 cells and the cards were locked before 4/1. I would beat the Concierge and then go like, ok, the cards are locked, can't do anything, when I had maxed out everything at the time. Still have the run though!

You'll blast through the content in a day or so when you're maxxed out anyway
