You don't think 2p is complex enough? It's like the ocean to your swimming pool comparing to 3p. Just watch some of the top players replays.

My opinion, 2p is much more competitive and fun. Thanks gurus!

This is the worst thing that could have been done to the arena.

Sure you are gurus genius and proplayers enjoy playing 2p but with this change I barely can find a game, no one like it to be real

What I actually like the least, or even hate the most: That even though this is the most competitive way of the game, this isn't fun (and I am a very competitive person) - just because it feels like only 1% of the games get finished.
I personally think this is very sad, because I am not into board games to play them only 75% through.
For those who think, "if I know I'm loosing, why should I waste more time?", hear my advice:
If one can't stand loosing, stop playing! It is a part of playing games as well as everything else. If one have this attitude with OTB play, no one would play with them...
This is the main reason for me, at least on this website, why I think 3p is the best version. You shouldn't be able to resign games in arena mode, no matter how many players there are

On the contrary - I find conceding a polite thing to do when someone is clearly winning. When I'm ahead by 30 points and clearly have a better engine, I'd rather just have my opponent end the game than go through the motions. And similarly, when I'm in games that are clearly hopeless, I don't enjoy having to finish them out.

I don't think the analogy with OTB games holds up all that well. When I play in real life, I'm enjoying time spent with friends. When I'm playing online, I play for the enjoyment of the game and the competition.

Conceding in general is fine but it ruins the data :(

People really concede that often? I will never concede. Who's to say I won't make a stunning comeback and have a cool story to tell?
:)

I've had people occasionally concede to me a game I wasn't even sure who was winning.

Yeah, I get games immediately and people rarely concede sub 95% completion. Seems fine to me. Kulik is right about the stats though. It’s a shame. Stats are life.
