Infinity effect of visitors

When is the infinity effect of a visitor with fulfilled potions executed? When you buy it and later again? Do you need to pay potions again for this?

The infinity effect means the visitor can be activated as many times as people can pay for and the player paying for it gets the effect instantly. The card stays in the common area and does not go into anyone's tableau. At the end of the round where someone activates the infinity visitor, then it will leave and is discarded.
