"Application loading" message that will not go away

I don't have the application loading message, but I am having to refresh moves in my games - this has happened before and I'm guessing will be addressed by the admin team if it isn't already being worked on. There are LOTS of bugs reported about it. This one: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=164966 seems to have more votes than most others I saw (note that 167218 appears to be the one raised by ambivier, in addition, Violenttena seems to have raised 167378 and MrsC 167267). It really does help if multiple people vote for the same bug instead of raising lots of new ones, and putting links in forums helps with that, but also searching, or even just looking at the most recent bugs by sorting by last updated (which is what I did to find the ones I found).

Dear all,

we are currently facing a difficult outage that affects some of our players, mostly from the Russian Federation but also from other countries. The root cause is still unclear but we suspect some kind of filtering either from our provider or from some other routers.

What is sure is that some IP are partially filtered, which causes lags or disconnections. We are investigating, in the meantime, if you have a VPN or can use a mobile phone as a hotspot or a different connection, please use it to be able to access BGA.

We are as frustrated as you on this subject and we hope quick answer from our provider on the verge of this long week-end.

Dear all,

we are still working on that frustrating issue. We have deployed a fallback system to mitigate the issue for our users affected. So, any user affected by this should now be able to play baring a 5 seconds latency in the initial connection and when switching in and out from and to the game and main site pages.

Please let us know if that mitigation works for you or not. We will continue working on that issue but at least, people affected should now be able to play as expected.

Everything was OK yesterday, but today the problem is back. Sometimes it works faster a bit, but still normal playing is impossible

What is the status of this bug? It happens often, resulting in me being forced to quit the game, then I get a karma penalty because the game engine has a bug. In fact, it says "Application loading..." on my screen now while in the Forum screen. Not cool!
