Randomly getting MC back when placing tiles

Hi, lately when playing games I have noticed me or other players getting MC as a rebate after playing tiles without an apparent cause (not standard tech, media group, optimal aerobraking, etc.). The game log provides no explanation where that MC is coming from either, could anyone point me to an explanation of what they are from?

Maybe money comes from oceans: When you place tile you get 2MC for each adjacent ocean tile

Ocean adjacency I guess or rover construction if it happens with cities.
