Ability to turn off the chat entirely

Hi,

I am a premium BGA user from day one. Never used the free membership. I really appreciate what BGA offers for a small buck. THANK YOU!

But I really don't like to be disturbed by foreign players chatting in their language or even in mine. I would like to think! I hate people annoying me with phrases like "an eternity later..." or "play faster my dinner is on the stove" I just want to play and think my moves through. That's what I've paid for, right?

I don't need people smirking around with their senseless "GGs" to show everyone what great players they are, while on the other hand they didn't pay a single penny to support BGA.

I would like to be able to decide whether I want to communicate on BGA or not. Is that a reasonable demand/wish?

It would also be benificial to BGA moderation, since the players can ignore each other simply by turning of the chat, rather that ranting at each other.

I would be very happy, if I could turn off the in-game chat with a simple click.

Thank you BGA team for considering that. It should be a easy task.

Totally agree with you, I also miss a button or an option to deactivate chats. And I'm also a premium user. I think it's just not fair, that we don't have an option not to be disturbed in chats.
