Over a decade after the fall of the legendary superhero agency The Guardians, a new generation rises to claim the spotlight.
The goal? Amass 50 million followers and become the world’s most celebrated superhero agency!

As the head of your own Super agency, you will recruit powerful heroes—each with their own color, star strength, and unique abilities.
Complete missions, earn bonuses, and outshine the competition in a race for fame.

Fast-paced, strategic, and full of superpowered twists, Super challenges you to make every move count.
Can your agency rise to the top and capture the world’s admiration?

Do not worry about how to play, there is a tutorial, and the game page link contains all you need to enjoy it:
https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=super

Let's thank Square Moon Games for making this happen, with the help of the game designers Jérémy Ducret & Johannes Goupy.
This online adaptation has been done by Firgon and we would like to thank him for that!

That's your Monday release.
See you around on Wednesday for more games.
Until then, take care and... Be Super!

The premise reminds me of the book "Renegades" by Marissa Meyer or "The Boys"...

You don’t respond to people and check your announcements.
You forget Stupid sexy Flanders.
The only thing you can do is moderate the comments that you find slightly offensive.
Give us proper Flanders and more thought out announcements!
That would be super.
Both the announcement and game are fine for me.
You seem to be complaining about the announcement and functionality for a game you haven't even played once.

Personally, I don't care for the random Simpsons character Easter egg in announcement graphics, since it seems to be unnecessary and irrelevant. I'm sure most board game publishers don't have any particular reason to want this character as part of their board game graphics/branding, if they're even aware of this happening, especially considering that, as far as I'm aware, BGA doesn't own the copyright for this character. The focus of the announcement should be the board game release itself anyway, and this Easter egg only detracts from that. That being said, I don't really have anything against it being there if it helps to garner attention for the announcement, but it not being there in every single announcement seems like a trivial thing to be upset about.

I for one appreciate the actual games being regularly released and the efforts of the developers of each game and of the developers of the site itself to release them at this cadence.

I agree.

The person complaining, for some reason, also seems to assume that the person making the announcements for new games here is also the one in charge of getting them released and the one who should be responding to complaints, and on top is the one moderating everything here. That doesn't seem fair at all to me.

The "About" section on the game's page (https://boardgamearena.com/gamepanel?game=super) says: "The goal of the game? Attract 60 million followers as quickly as possible."

I think it did help draw people in and actually read the announcements and maybe see a new game to be interested in.

It's more the downhill trajectory things have been taking. Seeing a well placed Flanders was like seeing green M&Ms in a bands dressing room, it meant care was taken to get the finer details right.

Recently it looks like they started using AI to add Flanders with poor results. On top of that, images were not displaying fully, tutorial links were broken, game rules missing, incorrect information about a games release status. So no one bothering to check if everything is correct before posting. That combined with the fact that even when these issues were pointed out nothing was done about it and no response posted about "we will look into this" shows the lack of care that has become the norm from the admins.

So for them to give up hiding Flanders and again not bothering with a "we enjoyed this but will no longer be doing this" just seems to reflect how much they care about the users, or what they pushing out.

I do agree that there seem to have been a number of mistakes in recent announcements that were either poorly addressed or not addressed at all.

This is the thing. Is it a big deal? No.

But it's weird for something like this to slip through: https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/newsi ... er-918.jpg

Both game images and titles are cut off. As far as I can tell, anyone glancing at the site sees it, on any desktop or mobile device, in any language. It doesn't take extensive review, it just takes a human glance.

The last dual release examples I found don't cut the titles off like that:
https://x.boardgamearena.net/data/newsi ... er-785.jpg

One would assume the publishers would prefer their full game titles be shown in the image, and the work involved to fix the image is trivial, but who knows.
