Journey Adventure: How to use earned wild actions?

Hello! Looking for some help, based on my reading of the rules I understand that once I have earned wild actions from either use of astronauts or planning actions that I can use those whenever I like to change the action card associated with a the number card I am selecting in a turn. Two part question, I am correct in that understanding and how do I take that action while playing in BGA.

If we're talking about the second adventure, looks like you understand it correctly. Once you have the wild action circled (after circling either 2 astronauts or 2 plannings), there's a button "Use joker" in the status bar at the start of your turn. If you click it - you can choose the card effect
