Agricola Special Edition?

Post by razorphantom110 »

Hello there farmers,
I am writing to inquire about a statement I read on this site:
This is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, we’ll be revealing artwork, miniatures, component previews, and development insights as we build toward the campaign launch. You’ll also get a first look at Irrigation on BGA, and we’ll share how you can help test and refine it with us.
We can’t wait to show you more.

Is it true? Do the developers of Agricola on this site know anything?
Thank you!

I find it somehow ironic that "[their] development team is carefully reviewing every single officially published card from every expansion to build a unified, balanced, and compatible card pool for the Special Edition", while the first update depicts the banned occupation Craft Teacher :D The addition of a "fruit" resource, while we have Cherry Orchard and Melon Patch producing / needing veggies is also somewhat funny :D

I am slightly skeptical it will be a great addition, but I will certainly try it if it does indeed come to BGA this May :3

Okay, so there is this new update:

https://gamefound.com/en/projects/awake ... /updates/3

I have heard of the regional decks, like Netherlands or Belgium, but the X deck with alien stuff seems wild to me O.o

Also no word yet on the playtest variant that was supposed to land here on BGA this May, but I guess they have a few days left in the month :D
