Troyes scoring

Post by stevve15 »

Can someone please clarify how scoring is calculated for troyes?

In my game #14471423 the cathedral scoring for each player does not correspond to the number of cubes on the cathedral itself i.e. some score more points than the number of cubes built in the cathedral while others score points equal to the number of cubes in the cathedral despite not having built on a level which would have come with a -2 penalty.

Also what is points won: events?

Thanks guys!

Cathedral Scoring is a tally of all the points you earned by building the cathedral. One point per cube. Do not forget that one of the events removes the highest valued cube from the cathedral, making it possible for you to score more points than cubes you have in the cathedral at game's end.

Events are the cards at the bottom of the screen. Each time an event has all of its available spaces filled, the player with the most cubes scores the top value and earns the card, while the second place person scores the second value. Points Won Events is a tally of these points.

The rulebook states that uncompleted events that have a cube on them should score 1 VP for that player. Current scoring on BGA assigns zero to the events score at game end. Is it a bug?

Do you have a link to a game where this is the case? Because it has correctly scored uncompleted events in my games. It doesn't appear in the "Events" section of the final scoring but rather under "Actions" IIRC.

Ah yes, now I see that the scoring is correct, but as you say it is not under "Events". Thank you.
