Premium subscription price update (July 1st 2025)

I received the mail about the auto-renew with the previous price and Now a mail about the change … the communication is not serious and not very commercial (take care about the customer feeling! )

Firstly, while I acknowledge the rationale behind increasing the annual price, I would appreciate the introduction of additional benefits for premium users.

I would rather they just addressed the huge backlog of requests and fixes from their own bug database:

Many of these bugs have been open for years and have hundreds of upvotes. Yet, there hasn't even been an acknowledgement from BGA staff that the they are even considering the suggestions.

Family plans pls thx. I have a household of 4 and would happily upgrade all of them to show support for a reasonable bundle price (which could be IP-limited to ensure we're coming from the same location). A la carte would be too much given the diminished utility.

I can understand the price increase, but I really hope it means that the frequent instabilities and service interruptions will definitely stop.
It's pretty bad to not even be able to use our premium membership because of a bad infrastructure.

I can play incredible and beautifully implemented board games at any time of day, as much as I want, with friends or strangers, and experience a ton of extra joy on a daily basis despite my super busy life that doesn't allow me to play at the table currently?

You want six extra dollars a year? I can just not buy two cups of coffee to defray the cost? Or a bag of chips? Please take my money. This is an incredible platform and joyful addition to my life. Grateful for BGA. Thanks for what you do.

How much of this increased fee will actually make it to the developers of the game/digital implementation versus how much is just going straight to Asmodee?

While I greatly appreciate the expanding catalog of games, the continuing price hikes is what I feared when Asmodee purchased the site.

In the last two years, what we have seen most at BGA have been price increases and increased instability on the website.

Is there any way to renew the membership before the price increases? My renewal date is in July, but I'd like to renew for another year in advance of the renewal date.

A 25% increase is way too high and I'm reconsidering my renewal.

You should consider going back to school. It's a 17% increase, not 25%.

Beginning on July 1st, 2025, the price of an annual Premium subscription will increase from R$180,00 to R$240,00.


Here the increase was 33%, I believe it depends on the currency/country.
