10s...

Does anyone else have problems with the 10s in this game? I have busted more to double 10s in this game than anything else. So much that when i pull a 10 it is a automatic stay action for me. Tell me that it is random and i am being paranoid i i will belive you:) It is just strange...

It's probably selective memory. The 10+ cards are dangerous. If you have one of them and 20+ points, you should seriously consider staying.

For example, suppose you have 11-12. While you have a relatively small chance of busting, the most points you can gain by hitting is 10, which means you should stay. But with 7-8-9, that's 24 points, but now it's much safer to hit.

Actually, it’s not safer to hit, they are equally dangerous. If you have 7-8-9, there are 21 cards to make you bust (6+7+8=21) or if you have 11-12 there are still 21 cards to make you bust (10+11=21). But the potential reward of being able to take a 12 vs an 8 makes hitting more worth the risk
