Brass is indeed already being worked on. Lancashire now, afterwards Birmingham. It's rather common for those big, very popular titles to not have a public alpha, surely not early on, but being worked on behind the scenes.

I'm so pumped for this!

It may be also that they want the release of BGA Brass to coincide with their upcoming Kickstarter for the new Brass game.

Do you have any idea about the kickstarter?

Eclipse 2nd Edition? Since we have Galactic Era and TI (in the making) this would be the more casual "modern" space4x
