I'd take it a proof of concept that it can be done, but that it's not worth it or scalable (it still doesn't discriminate between player counts or board sizes, or other options, does it?)

For the game "Pente"? No. But, some stats are better than no stats.
Aquatica currently has zero stats.

Re: Stats by player count
If we have stats for 2-player games, we can reasonably extrapolate for larger player counts.
I'm sure you are aware of the massive player 1 advantage in Aquatica. We don't need stats for 3-player or 4-player games to know that going 4th is likely a horrible spot to be in. The best Ocean characters will be gone, and the best locations will have been taken, and, there is almost no chance of triggering end game. Player 4 will almost certainly have fewer turns than one or more of the other players. Even if player 4 triggers end game, at best, he or she gets an equal number of turns.
I suspect this imbalance is why the top players of Aquatica rarely play against each other. (If I'm wrong, I'm glad to hear an explanation of why this is
Among the top 3 players (You, myself and OliBoardGamer), only one total game has been played.
For what it's worth, in any game with a player 1 imbalance I have a standing offer to always offer a rematch if I am player 1, as long as the opponent makes the same promise.

How can I file an official suggestion?Kayvon wrote: ↑05 June 2025, 16:56 This is a really cool suggestion. I'd love to see the capability of doing that. BGA actually has this data in their database already, but I'm not sure what the workload would be to implement the capability.
If you file an official suggestion, add the link to this thread and I'll vote for it. BGA developers don't act on suggestion thread discussions.

I filed a suggestion for the specific game I would like statistics for, in the bug/suggestion forum for that sp0ecific game.Salmur wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 14:56How can I file an official suggestion?Kayvon wrote: ↑05 June 2025, 16:56 This is a really cool suggestion. The website in general already has the capability to track statistics. From what I've been told, it is up to the developer for each game to decide which ones, if any, to track and display.
Re: Stats by player count
It depends on the game. However, while stats like board size are applicable only on specific games, player count applies on all games and can be really useful to get better stats in most cases.
I believe that it wouldn't be that hard to implement too, so I strongly think that it would be worth it.
Anyway, only the devs can tell how much effort it takes to make this change.

This is not a suggestion for single games. It's actually a suggestion for all games.FrankJones wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 15:00I filed a suggestion for the specific game I would like statistics for, in the bug/suggestion forum for that sp0ecific game.Salmur wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 14:56How can I file an official suggestion?Kayvon wrote: ↑05 June 2025, 16:56 This is a really cool suggestion. In general, this is true, but this suggestion is about sorting and displaying those statistics by player count.FrankJones wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 15:00 The website in general already has the capability to track statistics. I won't rehash my earlier comments in the thread except to say that while developers choose what data they're tracking, they don't have a clean way of displaying that by player count. It's all or nothing when displaying statistics at the end of the game.

But, the stats for "Pente" seem to be an exception here. Stats are given for "player 1" and "player 2" even though the game can be player with 3 or 4 players.Kayvon wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 15:18In general, this is true, but this suggestion is about sorting and displaying those statistics by player count.FrankJones wrote: ↑16 June 2025, 15:00 The website in general already has the capability to track statistics. In this case, the Pente developer seems to have found a way around the "all or nothing".
