Captain Tsubasa: The card game

"Captain Tsubasa: The card game" is a deck-building game for two players recreating a soccer game set in the world of the acclaimed manga by Yōichi Takahashi.

Players start with 12 cards representing players (and fans!) from their team, either Nankatsu or Toho. They will need to recruit more and use their special abilities to score goals, make decisive passes, and defend.

Question: while translating to Italian, is it ok to apply names of players and teams which belong to the TV Anime we have all seen in the 80-90s?
I've noticed that the Spanish translation has been done like this.

Example: Benji Price, Mark Lenders, Newteam, Derrick twins etc...

I first need to know if it's against the publisher's idea. Then, I'd like to listen to other italian fellas..

The game was originally released in Spanish and they've got the license for that. This should also be the case for the English, German and Polish names, since the game released in these countries. I don't know the licensing status about this for other countries, I'll check with the publisher.

Improvements:
- German cards and game elements
- The score is now displayed on the field
- You are shown the result of a special shot before moving on to the next round
- You can click anywhere outside a card to close the card list (for the bench and discard pile)

Fixes:
- Fix the art for Tsuneo Takashima and Takeshi Sawada (they were swapped)
- Use the Spanish version for the whistle and special shot cards when the game is in Spanish

There is no problem at all. Hopefully, any italian publisher would be interested in publishing the game in italian and then we will adapt all the graphic design to italian names, etc. Meanwhile, any italian user is allowed to translate everything, incluiding the italian name of the players. Howerver the cards still will be in English (i suppose) until we will publish the game in italian.

Thanks Pablo for the hard work and the excellent results. I wonder how couldn't you find an Italian publisher yet, being Italy probably the not-japanese country where the Anime has been so popular the most.
The Italian broadcaster called Mediaset has been the first to show Holly & Benji in Europe in 1986, and sold then the rights in France (1988, La Cinq, Olive et Tom) and Spain (1990, Telecinco, Oliver y Benji).
In fact, all the names we know (Holly, Benji, Mark, Tom, Julian etc) have been created by the Italian broadcaster in order to have a more simple sound for young attendance.
I am myself an enormous fan of the show, as well as every Italian citizen born in the 80s
