Landing On A Patch (Error?)

Hi there,

Just to clarify, why can you land on the patch space in this version, but the physical one you can't? The rules say you pass over the patch and the space it's on, but in this version, you use the space that the patch was on as a space.

What gives?

The rules say

Quote the exact language of the rule (as opposed to your understanding of what it means) and what edition of the rules you're taking it from.

The placing of the bonus patches either on, or between, spaces is a layout difference in the thematic editions. Gameplay-wise, it does not matter, if you collected the patch while skipping it, or landing on it.
