Cancel/Undo a player's translations

Post by Choarier56 »

Hi,

Is it possible to undo all of a player's translations? He translated hundreds of sentences into Breton two months ago, usually with one or two letters, and since we're a very small community, no one saw it until today. :x

The result is hundreds of incomprehensible sentences on the site, and correcting them doesn't earn any points since they've already been confirmed.

No, you can't.

But you can report this player if you think they shouldn't be able to that again.

Yes, we are talking about more than 1000 translations vandalized with just one letter https://boardgamearena.com/translation? ... 495&page=0 the minimum would be that it be blocked, if ever the moderation can undo its translations, already for the readability of the site...

Yes that's obviously vandalizing and reportably. Maybe BGA can set the texts again to untranslated, so you can redo it and get the gift points? Good luck!

Language is a source of misunderstanding. (Antoine de Saint-Exupery: The Little Prince) But it is also the source of understanding - it all depends on how you use it. :-)

There is no previous translation for the linked translations ( I did not check it for all 1000 texts, but for more than 30, randomly), so there is nothing that can be recovered. As cigma suggested, you can ask BGA to set these texts to untranslated.
