In games like Catan, its so frustrating and game deciding that the dice can be so skewed, not saying that the algorithms for dice are wrong, but you get games where some numbers just dominate and completely decide outcome.
Cant you offer a card deck dice scheme for some or all games using two or more dice either with a fixed number of "cards" or variable. It should be quite easy to programme, just make a table with all combinations like 3-4, , 4-3, 2-4 and so forth and their probality. THen youll get a table of like 4-3 is 7 rolls compared to 1 roll of 1-1, and multiply that table by say 1 or whatever. Then instead of using random dice, the random part is what dice will be chosen from the table, removing that dice combo from the deck after chosen, thus ensuring that all dice combinations gets a fair distribution. The number of "decks" used will then be the decider on how fast dice reaches their natural distribution.
