Kingdom Builder Arena championship goes to Finland for the first time!

Just wanted to make a post to celebrate this landmark!

For context - as many of you know - that HZ (hb2014, etc) has won Kingdom Builder arena each time since October 2021 - except once - when Cszs won!

I know this is not a sports event or contest between countries - but still feels good to be first to bring the prize home! Okay - it is not exactly same as first ice hockey world championship - but close! )

I have a bottle of sparkling wine that I've been saving past many celebrations so far- perhaps this is the moment!

And yes, Hungary do seem to lead the way in KB champions, (and I for one owe a lot to those who have taken time to discuss games/strategy, give advice, play team games and just generally be kind to less experienced players) but congrats on your Finnish season victory.

It was quite pressurized towards the end - each win brought 1-5 points with the devastating ~-40 points penalty looming if losing just once.

Let's see what this season brings - perhaps new historical events! :p
