I've always wanted to do this combo. Still, it took me over two years of playing this game to finally get the chance

It's so delicious how I got the right cards at the perfect exact time. How beautiful Vale of Eternity is. I wish and I hope there is more people coming to play this beautiful game.

Hi, thanks for sharing. In over 400 games I have never encountered the legendary phoenix-aeris-scorch combination, especially reduced to only 1-1-1-1 to summon.

BTW the Scorch-Aeris interaction that occurred is actually a bug, but had no effect on game outcome. Scorch on Aeris should be able to recover Aeris and not Scorch. Here is the bug report: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=121056

No way this was a bug. Maybe the translation of the card is incorrect? Haha I'm saying this because yeah you are right it says it will copy the power but not activate it on the card. Still sad though. Looks like a great combo hard to get

Hi, I am saying that according to the game designer the interaction on BGA is incorrect, therefore a rules bug. Also, you didn’t cheat, you used the cards correctly as per the “BGA rules”, no exploit. I linked to the old forum posts with Eric Hong’s response.

The game bug did not appear to have any effect on the outcome of the game. The correct rules would be that Scorch copies Aeris, recover Aeris, summon Aeris to recover scorch and repeat.

It should make you alternate between summoning Scorch and Aeris, rather than Scorch over and over. It doesn’t usually make a difference for score or stones but could be an advantage or disadvantage if certain cards show up to make you break the Scorch, Aeris cycle or an opponent uses Leviathan to make you discard one.

I think the intended version of the combo is much cooler. It makes you alternate Scorch and Aeris instead of only Scorch.
