Bug in game cost me penalty point, I can use some help please

I have a bug isseu that gives me problems when I play catan in arena mode, when a player comes with 3x a trade request the boxes are overlapping in my screen https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=173381, and I can't do anything as ask the player to cancel the trade so the game can go on, but some players ignoring this request and wait till my time is up so they can kick me out, I get penalty points withouth my fault, proberly they see this as a way to safe them self some penalty points when they loose the game, but I'm annoyed with that because I can't do anything abouth it, it's just not fair and I hope someone an help me or that they at least sort the bug out.

Can you not close the top level message with the X in the corner? Then the other one should become available for interaction. Is this something new in Catan, or has it always happened? If it is causing as much problem as you say, I'm surprised no one else has reported it (I'm assuming you searched for someone else reporting before raising your own bug, and no one has upvoted yours either). I assume Catan is still reasonably popular, so I wouldn't expect you to be the only one impacted.

BGA don't generally reverse penalties for bugs in games. If a game has a bug like this, then you may need to avoid it until the problem is fixed.
