2 of clubs auto play - worth making a suggestion post about?

Greetings,

When I play hearts, I make a lot of inferences based on the cards I receive in the pass.
I also make a lot of inferences based on which clubs get played on the first trick.
I use these pieces of information to formulate my strategy for the hand.

As it is, the games go insanely fast, with almost no time to think or try to remember what was played.

But the 2 of clubs auto-play kills me. Sometimes, the instant I receive my pass, the 2 of clubs gets auto played (by my hand), and before I can even contemplate the cards I was passed, the trick gas ben taken, the next trick has been led, and 3 players have played their card for that second trick.

I think it would be nice helpful to require a click or button press to lead the 2 of clubs. Something like "acknowledge passed cards" or "lead 2 of clubs" or "confirm ready to lead 2 of clubs" or something.

I realize that, but it's still odd to me that the game goes from me waiting to receive my cards to the second trick so quickly and without my being able to think first, and then needing to look at the log to process all the information.

More ideal would be:

1) "Okay, here is what I received, let me think about what that means. "
2) "Okay, now I know how I intend to play this hand, I'll lead the 2 of clubs"

And at that point, I can focus my attention on the first trick and make further inferences as I watch the next trick begin.

Ideally, in my opinion, a real-time game could be played without looking at the game log.

If I do not have the 2 of clubs, I can decide when I am ready to play my first card and proceed to trick 2. Only the person with the 2 of clubs is denied that opportunity.

It's especially frustrating since the newly received cards are just merged with the hand, sorted, without being highlighted or raised to indicate what I received.

How about a countdown clock... if you don't play it in 5-10 seconds, it does so automatically? Change the time length if you want. I get not wanting to sit there for 20 seconds while someone doesn't realize they have to lead.

In general, I dislike it when BGA goes all-in for quickness, especially if it's juts a few seconds that are at stake. I want to play the card myself, just like OTB.

Anyone else (who does not have the 2 of clubs) can take the full amount of the turn timer to examine the passed cards, plan how to play the hand, etc.

I do not understand why the player who ends up with the 2 of clubs id denied this same opportunity.
