4 player game with hyperlanes. There is only a pair of alpha wormholes on the map.

A player has a secret objective to have ships on alpha and beta wormholes at same time.

Is this something that should be in the deck on this type of map?

Thanks in advance!
The rules don't forbid the occasional impossible objective. It's just bad luck: https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=174726

However, I'm open to ideas if someone can propose a balanced 4-player hyperlane map with base game tiles in the layout that BGA uses...that also uses all 4 wormholes.

This would avoid a default map causing people to feel bad with that objective, though they will then probably feel bad about a different objective. :D Lots of planet control objectives are challenging on 4-player hyperlane maps too.

Tell me about it! We also drew 6 non home planets and 4 same type planets as first round public objectives on this map and cracks are already forming!

Thanks for the answer - will leave map suggestions to more experienced players. Perhaps when/if you reach a stable point and are entertaining non rules enhancements we can suggest an option to redraw personal impossible objectives:)

I think that's part of the idea. 4 player with hyperplanes perhaps should be recommended for experienced play groups because it's meant have the feel of a 6 player game.

Each player only has a "slice" of a few safe hexes, and with control objectives you either start fighting, or make deals to let someone temporarily capture them, or the game just goes longer.

4 player without hyperplanes is much more open and less conflict heavy.

For anyone who plays on BGA and is still reading this thread, I encourage you to poke around the options menu (click the gear icon near the scoreboard).

I post news updates on the group feed at https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=14858507 but unfortunately it seems that most players never see that.

To be an alpha reviewer, you must have played 750 games total and 50 different games. You also need good karma. Other players can be invited to games in alpha status by reviewers (to individual games being played) or by the developer (to the game's player group).

I will note that we have a ton of alpha testers (over 2300) and a ton of games (over 500) at present.

Therefore, it may be less likely for further non-reviewers to be approved right now. In particular, if one is merely curious about the implementation or new to TI4, it's probably best to wait for the beta.

I have updated the FAQ to indicate, please DO NOT continue the game if you see a bug. Instead, if you are certain there is a bug, make a report at that moment.

I usually answer within a day, and it is far more time-consuming to debug if the game continues or players try to work around the bug before reporting it. This is because the report creates a snapshot of the exact moment the bug is happening, and often I can fix it there.

New faction: The Embers of Muaat

This faction starts with a war sun, can benefit from supernovas, and can give their friends war sun tech early.

@GTSchemer
It's about streamlining production. In the game, one point produces two infantry units. On the BGA, if I select one, it will produce one. Maybe for the production of infantry and fighters. Additionally, the number of such units I actually want to produce should appear in parentheses.
