Ark Nova still only has 4 arena leagues

BGA has a maximum of 6 arena leagues to use (Elite, Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, Bronze), but Ark Nova only uses 4 of them. Why?
Let's look at some numbers.

Ark Nova - 241k games played - 12,913 individual players - 4 leagues
Catan - 172k games played - 11,984 individual players - 6 leagues
7 Wonders Duel - 157k games played - 7,479 individual players - 6 leagues
7 Wonders - 116k games played - 7,928 individual players - 5 leagues
Terraforming Mars - 99k games played - 6,560 individual players - 5 leagues
Space Base - 62k games played - 3,180 individual players - 5 leagues
Lost Ruins of Arnak - 42k games played - 2,476 individual players - 4 leagues

Where is the consistency here?

I have gone through the proper method of making a suggestion, but that is like screaming into the void. Suggestion from April 2024:

More arena leagues means better matchmaking for everyone. Games are not fun for either player when there is a difference of over 700 arena points between opponents, which is very common towards the end of arena seasons. And because both players are in Elite league, there is no way to filter this sort of difference out...

Yeah, i wonder as well. Platinium did appear in one season just to annoy my friend who was gunning for elite but disappeared on the next season.

More leagues could help (some people would be unhappy not to reach elite though, even if that is the reason to ask for more leagues in the first place)

nice catch, it is indeed displayed as a rank in the current season 22 (last season to have platinium was season 15)

I agree the matchmaking is pretty bad. Im in that No Man's Land of being a "Strong" player and never "Expert" and playing Arena is discouraging because of the number of 500+ ELOs I get matched with, when Id rather be playing 400 ELOs. (Plus, the odd smurf account - man, there are some good 100 ELOs in arena!). But isnt the counterargument that if I want to play 400 ELOs I just dont play Arena - there is still a good number of non-Arena players. I appreciate that you are considering the position of Expert players who dont want to play for small ELO gains, but in terms of being not fun for all players, some players do have an alternative.

Ark Nova now has the max amount of arena tiers. It will be interesting to see if that resolves the issue of elite basically being every active player with an ELO > 200

And now he's diamond! So all leagues arrived in ark now.

Regarding playing non-arena for lower elo players. I don't know... Arena is still for everyone: Fastest way of finding a game, consistent settings for a season... More leagues should already help the matchmaking after a few games.

By experience, in turn based games, games play out faster and more regularly on Arena than casual games.

It's a bit strange, with a win you might get 1-2 symbol in that league, so after 5 wins at 6 symbols in platin league, but 1 lose and you are down to 0 again. That's not how this should progress I would assume?

1 step against silver, 2 against gold. Working as intended i would say. -5 against a silver is also expected.

If you want to earn points faster, force your opponent to be in your league. Use the gear before launching a game
