I see that there was a request for this back in 2020 and it was declined due to "may be confusing for players," however I would like to review this now that we are 5 years on, and much more advanced in BGA.
I am surprised by the rationale of "may be confusing," as my group repeatedly has issues with colors changing between matches - often it is after committing to an action, only to see it benefit an opponent becuase in the game we just ended, they had the opposite colors from each other.
Maintaining colors on the rematch would decrease confusion when playing with the same people.
