Hello,
this is my first Arena season. And ending of a season is quite horrible for me based on current rules.
1) https://boardgamearena.com/3/rallymangt?table=694835676 (Very big chance to win, missing last 2 rounds)
2) https://boardgamearena.com/10/rallymang ... =688459420 (parked right before finish line, first)
So I have some proposals to include, to make it more fair. Time matters - I agree, but maybe consider adding more criteria to decide winner/losers.
1) I believe probably the player who is in last/before last would try to delay game. Definitely not front-runners. I would add this check as well. Top 50% of players probably do not want to delay game. Bottom 50% would do that.. or maybe top/bottom 33% (make line where-ever you think is reasonable). But just based on time is imo pretty unfair
2) Another point might be, if player logged in within last day (few last hours) and it was his turn and deliberately ignored game, that is another minus criteria to take into consideration for him - cause he's deliberately ignoring game. This happened in game above. If you play arena, do not ignore it. It should be highest on your list, right? At least that's my understanding.
Thank you for reading this and talking about it. Possibly implementing it in future somehow

Based on this, because I sleep during night and other took turns later then me, I am going to "lose this game". This is very unfair. If your turn-based game is not finished at the end of the Season, the player who spent the most thinking time during the game will lose the game and lose Arena points.
