Moving 10s out gives 25% more elo points ,and moving 9s and 10s gives 50% more ,but trying to mix different options to make a medium game (like adding the max combo ) will only give you 1 elo.
Taking jesters out is another good choice ,but I have never won before in 3 or 4 player games .
Limiting combo doesn't give you extra elos and the game would be very boring .

Pay attention to the date of the post. It was two years ago, the elo was working differently at that time.
