Players gave up on this game?

I had a while to play bga, but now that I returned I see that there is little to no chance of playing hidden leaders in real-time be ause of the small player base, I mean let's face it on avg I see 30 games playing simultaneously and they are all turn based, that seems to me like players gave up on the game.
I remember some almost a year ago that the game got released it was swarming with players.
I personally like this game very much and it makes me sad that I'm not able to play real time hidden leaders.

Does anyone have any clue why do people stopped playing hidden leaders??

Most likely, not because they were huge fans of the game, but because it was new and shiny.

Because many other new and shiny games have been released since.

A larger game selection in BGA also means fewer players per game. Less popular games get all but abandoned and players concentrate more and more on the most popular games.
