Point Luna monster

Post by objective-goose128 »

Hello everyone. I have recently two games with point Luna. Once I played it other time I played opposite to. The result was known from 2 round. If point Luna get their cards it is unstoppable. I think no other corp can do that. I recommend to add option to play without point Luna.

Yes, many in the community have requested that BGA add an option to toggle Prelude corps OFF. They can be overpowered with high variance (Point Luna is a classic example) and lead to a lowered skill cap as weaker players can high roll crazy earth tags and steamroll the game. There is somewhere you can up vote that option to encourage BGA to add it I believe

I voted, but I don't think every corp from prelude is that strong. I had only problems with Luna.

Vitor is very strong. Valley Trust is strong and works well with many starting hands. Cheung Shing is strong.

Robinson is the only one that isn't above average.

Point Luna is definitely a problem.

Vitor has the potential to go way, waaay more out of hand than Point Luna imo if it gets its hands on card draw and, god forbid, earth catapult/RO/agt.

Disagree here, most Earth tag cards are already good without PL. Some EC EO Cartel plays gen1 are basically gg.

This start would be pretty OP for both PL and Vitor imo

As someone who likes both, I feel PL is almost always strong, Vitor is good and can go out of control with discounts and card draw but can fall flat without (esp without card draw). I'm probably biased that I mostly play Hellas on Steam and I think Vitor is very strong on that map

Point Luna *can* be absolutely busted. But it can also flame out. Earth tags aren't actually that common in the deck. It's high potential but also inconsistent.

Vitor is powerful in every game, in most situations.

My point exactly.
