What’s up with faction randomization?

I’m on my fifth straight game as Saxony, all of which were randomly assigned factions.

Well, 1 time out of 625 occurrences you will get the same faction 5 times in a row.

Scythe has been played almost 51,000 times on this site, so, this has likely happened several times.

With the "friendly modus", we can choose faction and capacity. But it's in alpha. :?
When can we play it in normal modus, that's the question!
