Lack of tool tips means you're playing blind

Post by Zmora »

I played through the tutorial on launch day but couldn't get a single match until just now. While playing, things happened that I didn't understand the why of, and I needed reminders for certain things but had no way to get them in-game. I had 3 martinis, but it only let me place 2 tokens, despite there being plenty of space adjacent, and I don't understand why. Hovering over abilities and icons on the board triggers nothing. You'll need the full rulebook in front of you to play in the beginning, or you'll need to do the tutorial multiple times to memorize everything.

I reviewed your game, the tile you took is an action to place 3 tiles linked together. If it has a line connecting the dots then they must all be touching. Because your first placement was in a corner where there was only room for a maximum of 2 circles, by the point where u could place a third, you had no space to lay it down. The only way to place the circles separately is if the action card does not have a line connecting them together.

I do think there needs to be better indicators for which cards got swapped because when your opponent does two hidden titles and you’re in turn based mode, it’s hard to know where the titles had been selected and what was swapped.

I'm just asking that there be something to explain that in-game. Hovering on the card produced no details, same with all the little icons on tile placement points. If I have to have a rulebook in front of me, I might as well play the physical game, you know?

It is best to learn all the rules before queueing into a match
