End score changing after last move

Did anyone else see the score of a player change after they finished their game?
My opponent finished before me (table https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=704410143) and their score was 283. After I finished their score was changed to 278. Not sure why. This is the second time I saw this. In the previous instance I watched a replay and the lower end score was the correct one. Looks like the "running" score was wrong.
I will submit a ticket but I am not sure if the devs can reproduce the error....

Yes I had the same, but in this case we both scored the same. After he ended, my score got reduced by 1.
I thought I had seen wrongly, but after your post, I now know I remember correctly.

I think there's a new rule, for each advancement tier you don't reach, you get minus points, but I'm not sure

I have had this occur on a few games. One game I got reduced from ~550 to ~440. I have found that after the first person finishes, if you refresh the page, their score will change to their actual score. There seems to be an issue with the display, but not with the actual point tracking.

No, there is nothing like that.

Seeing this a lot lately. It appears that when you undo the move during the game if you score any points before undoing your turn, those point are not subtracted as they should be. But under the hood it calculated properly cause page reload help and end of the game scoring is correct, so I thinks it is something to do with how BGA itself handling cookies, cause tapestry haven't seen updates for quite some time and this bug is fairly recent.

Had the same issue on a solo game where it turned my points into NEGATIVE points! And then the automa points weren't updating correctly on the display but at the end in the logs it suddenly caught up. very frustrating. I opened a ticket... was your issue resolved?

Negative points in solo games is BGA’s way of marking a loss against the automa. That is intentional.

Different variation to the problem: I had an opponent who wanted to use Guilds with 15 points but game wouldn’t let them. After refresh he had only 13 points.

It happened to me today. After checking the game stats, I realized that the score includes the entry “PV – Simple” (“PV Semplice” in Italian — not sure if that’s the right translation) along with the points from the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th eras. I’m still not sure what “PV Simple” actually means, but it seems to be the value that’s subtracted at the end of the game.
