How "real" and "random" is the game?

Maybe it's just me who has these questions based on my experiences, how real is this game...
-There was a total of 1 day when I won, then several times, since then I haven't won a single game in 8 days...
-The same number roll four times in a row...
-The same players keep coming back, ignoring the settings
-The game is full of bugs, server errors
-The rules are sometimes interpreted strangely, sometimes this way and sometimes differently (number of active knights vs. number of cities)
-And so many other "little things" that I've experienced..

You have a win rate of 30% (30 wins in 100 games), thus longer losing streaks are to be expected.

In another thread I calculated that there is (on average) one instance per game of a number rolled three times in a row. Without bothering to calculate I assume that you should see the same number rolled four times in a row at least in every 10th or 20th game of yours. If you think it occurs too frequently than count all those occurrences in your 100 games. You may tell us the result here in the forum and we can further discuss if we have numbers to rely on.

You mean that you meet some players in several games? You might have the same playing hours. Furthermore, if you search for a new game directly after one game has finished and your opponents do the same there is a high chance that you might end up in the same game again.

Server errors (red banner on top) are from BGA site and happen in all games, so they are not CATAN specific.

Can you give an example? Please quote the game number and the move number and which rule you think was not followed.
To my knowledge there was a display error for the number of active knights once (which should have been resolved by now) but nevertheless all barbarian attacks were always settled correctly - according to the rules. If you have a counterexample you can post it here or file a bug report.
