Friends who play a particular game

Post by harmlesslittleflea »

Is there a way to see which of my friends play a particular game, without manually sifting through everyone's games list? Even better would be a little leaderboard for just friends, but I think I'd know if that existed. :) Thanks in advance.

You may take personal notes for any player. Just go to that players profile. In their reputation section, just below the red and green thumbs, you might write down whatever you want, e. g. which games you both like to play. So you only have to check once :-)

But that's still having to go to each individual profile, just a different place in the profile. So you still have to go to the profile to check.

In database terms, they want the *game* to be the key and their set of friends who play it to be the field. They *don't* want their friends to be the key and the games they play to be the field.

If that's the question, you may go to your own statistics of that game -> Latest results -> "My" (player name's) games history -> Most frequent players. This shows all player names you played this game with at least once. I know it's not ideal, I'm just trying to show workarounds ;)

This works fine if their friend has played the game *with them*. But then they may already remember that.

What they want to be able to find out is if their friend has played a game ever with anyone, but without going to their profile.

I appreciate the replies. Yes, I'm thinking of for example when I want to learn a particular game that's new to me, with a friend who already knows it. Looks like my only option is repeatedly using Ctrl-F on everyone's profile. Oh well! Thanks anyway!

Yeah, if it's new to you (as in you haven't ever played it), then filtering your games history by that game can't help.

Or just ask them. Maybe they want to learn it together with you?
