Why did I lose?

I was playing solo mode and was settled to suffering a narrow defeat yet again. On my last turn, water tiles were out, temp was maxed, and oxygen was at 13%.

Then, production happened and lo and behold, I had 8 plants and was able to place one more greenery tile! (I wasn't paying attention to my plant production)

I turned in for one more greenery which I assumed would have raised the oxygen the last point to salvage victory from the jaws of defeat, but the game said I lost! What?!?

Not sure that lets you look at the game history to see what I'm talking about, but is the last greenery placement phase not supposed to raise oxygen? It's purely a VP earning phase?

From the rules for Solo Mode :

5) You always play 14 generations (marked ’solo’).
In order to win, you need to complete terraforming (i.e
making the three global parameters reach their goal) before
the end of generation 14. After generation 14, you may
convert plants into greenery tiles, following normal rules
but without raising the oxygen, and finally you score VPs to
get as high a score as possible. If you have not completed
terraforming by the end of generation 14, you lose.

It's perfectly normal that you lost, since the last forest was placed after the end of the last generation.
