This player did nothing wrong. You had a connection issue, your clock ran out during that time, and they abandoned the game. Players with negative time on their clock automatically vote yes to abandon a game. Instead of complaining in the forums you should be thanking them for not expelling you instead, taking the easy win and giving you a loss and a karma penalty.
