Big Dreams, Small Grid: TINY TOWNS!

Get ready to think small (and plan big) because Tiny Towns, the beloved city-building puzzle from AEG, is now available on Board Game Arena!
As mayor of a miniature woodland settlement, you’ve been entrusted with turning a patch of forest into a thriving micro-metropolis. The catch? Space is tight, resources are random, and your adorable animal citizens don’t believe in do-overs.
Welcome to Tiny Towns, where every cube counts, and clever planning is the secret ingredient to success.

In Tiny Towns, each player builds their own town on a snug 4x4 grid, that’s just 16 squares to turn into a prosperous woodland village. You’ll place resource cubes in specific patterns to construct buildings, each offering a different way to score points.

Sounds simple? Think again.
You don’t get to choose what resource comes next, and you must place it. With every turn, your peaceful patch of forest becomes more crowded, and one misplaced cube could send your strategy tumbling like a poorly planned tavern.
When no one can build or place anything else, the game ends, and every empty square is a painful -1 point penalty. It's not enough to build big — you have to build smart.

Dozens of building combinations, ensuring no two games are the same, Deceptively simple rules, infinitely deep strategy. There's no reason not to like it, so click the link below to start a game, or to learn more about the game:

It's all thanks to the AEG group and the game designer Peter McPherson that you can enjoy it online now on Board Game Arena, but no game is here without developers: Kayvon and Mogri made this happen for you all to enjoy!

That's your Wednesday release, part of the Summer of Games event!
See you around, enjoy a game or two, and as always...
Take care and play fair!

I like this game a lot. It's never landed with any of the groups I've played it with, so hopefully it'll get more plays on here.

I'd like to see more customizations options for selecting buildings before setup and implementation of the official solo mode. But having this is a fun addition to the site.

Thanks for adding!

If you uncheck "Town Hall Mode," you can play in the official solo mode. Happy building!

One of my fave games. Is there a way to move the monument card to the side so that all building cards are in view if you are looking at the entire grid? How and where do you put the 2 blocks (cavern rule) that you don't want to use? Thanks, Bee
