MIND MGMT: An intriguing day

Post by DrClick »

Once a force for good, MIND MGMT’s psychically-powered agents once worked tirelessly to prevent international crises. But absolute power corrupts absolutely, and now the organization rots from within, obsessed with tightening its iron grip on the world stage. To achieve global domination, MIND MGMT dispatches covert operatives to recruit other psychically-gifted individuals into its ranks.

Not everyone has fallen in line. A handful of rogue agents — former insiders turned whistleblowers — have defected, determined to stop MIND MGMT at all costs. Using their own psychic abilities, they will do whatever it takes to expose the organization’s shadowy movements and bring it down before it is too late.
In Mind MGMT, one player takes the role of the Recruiter, secretly moving across the city map in search of new psychic recruits while deploying the mysterious Immortals to conceal their trail. The other players, as rogue agents, must work together to deduce the Recruiter’s hidden path, asking questions, gathering intel, and making “mental notes” to zero in on their target.

Victory conditions are tense and asymmetrical:
  • MIND MGMT wins by collecting twelve recruits or surviving sixteen turns.
  • Rogue agents win by pinpointing the Recruiter’s location and making the arrest.

With its blend of hidden movement, deduction, and teamwork — plus the intrigue of psychic espionage — Mind MGMT delivers a cat-and-mouse battle that keeps players on the edge of their seats until the very last move.

Mind MGMT: The Psychic Espionage “Game.” is now available for you to learn through the tutorial, and ready to play on Board Game Arena. Rally your team, sharpen your wits, and decide the fate of the world — will you control minds, or free them?

Great game! I hope it can be more popular on BGA and have some shift packages in the future.

Sweet, I love this game. Seconding the call for shift packages (and the 'unlockable' rules variants that come with them!)

The physical version has been out for a year or so. It sits on my shelf of shame but I'm going to use this tutorial to learn to play.

You're not alone. I got this from Kickstarter and have been urging the family to play but it has sat there playing with my 'mind'....now its time!
