Backgammon - All board Settings reset to default every time you logout

WHY are the backgammon board settings be reset to all the default settings for "board style" and "animation speed" and "one-click moves" etc etc every time we log out???!
This doesnt make sense. Once we set the layout we want to use it should be retained in our profile so that every time we play that game it stays.
Every other site is like that. Why not here?

In order to avoid having to change 6 settings EVERYTIME we log out here at BGA, I am having to keep logged in to BGA.

Please FIX this issue ASAP
