Sure, I follow this thread. There were 20 responses since March. Doesn't sound like crowdfunding would be successful with that level of interest from players :(

I play almost exclusively this game on BGA and quite regularly. I never saw your message in the news feed and this is the first time I've been in the forums.

I'm sure there are so many (including me) that are much more willing to contribute to a Dodge City expansion than we are subscribing to premium, but if you're basing the level of interest on this forum post, you're not getting an accurate account of our love for the game and interest in the expansion.

Like the poster below mentioned this isn’t the best way to go about it. Hardly anyone reads the forum. This thread has 500 views. Considering I have notifications on more than 20 of those are mine (and probably the same for you). I would say at most only a couple hundred ppl have even read this (probably a generous #). So 20 something responders is pretty decent.

There are some discussions about Dodge City between the publisher and BGA. It goes slowly but steady. My situation have changed a lot since I started thinking about the crowdfunding as well.
Currently my development schedule is full till February. But I ping BGA from time to time to continue this discussion. Maybe the crowdfunding won't be needed in the end, who knows.
I don't know what's the best channel to communicate to players other than forums. Bang Players game group?

Why is there no information anywhere on the official BANG! social media pages, (FB, Instagram, Twitter (X), etc.) for example, that it’s possible to play the game online via the Board Game Arena website? This would be appreciated by people 30+ who don’t have as much time to meet up in person — they have families, jobs, and other responsibilities.

Personally, I’ve owned BANG! since its release and I buy all the DLCs (I even have the last three still unopened), but unfortunately, I don’t often get the chance to play the game face to face.

By complete coincidence, I came across this website and found out that I can play the game here too. In the short time I’ve been on the site, I’ve played around 100 games — about the same number I used to play in total before.

I discovered this site purely by chance, which is great, but it really deserves more promotion. I was happy to pay for VIP access and I’d gladly help bring BANG! expansions like Doge City and others to the platform.

What bothers me the most right now is the limited number of playable characters — there are really very few to choose from.
