i just wanna know how bad someone's luck can get

I think the algorithms are skewed. I did a test with five friends and the computer definitely favored new players (most likely trying to get them to play more) on new accounts
New accounts were able to string together many without doubles/bust cards and win more games.
older account players consistently could not get past a 3 card string
and if on a losing streak the cards trended toward less 'wild" cards and bizarre end of game opponents getting wild cards
IF you are a new player good game
Once you lose a few games you might aw well find another game.

Sure does. It's how randomness works.

I own a physical copy of this game. I have played it dozens of times.

I have watched numerous people bust on 3's, 4's and 5's. (Eagerly waiting to witness a bust on 2)

Got two 2 on my first game ever, which I lost - how's that for beginner's luck

I just had a game where the the first round I was forced to bust with a Flip 3 played on me, and then after that pretty much every second card busted me, a 12 which makes sense, but then it was a 4, and then a 3 (which were the only only ones in the deck). Everyone at this point was over 100 points and I was still sitting at a flat 0. I only tried to flip 7 after that and I guess the game must have had pity because it gave me a second chance, and I ended up flipping with a x2, was still solidly in last place though, but glad I didn't end with 0, haha.
