Status of the game and bugs?

Am I missing something? What’s with all the negativity? This implementation is great and they are fairly active with fixing bugs from what I see.

I cannot possibly fathom where this negativity comes form.

To be fair, I only played once or twice, but to me it seems like an excellent implementation, with minimal bugs (I experienced none in my one play), and no major bugs that I have seen reported.

Maybe I just haven't played enough to experience the bugs that are making people complain? That's definitely possible.

But from what I have seen, I very much like what I see here. Especially compared to the other version on [OTHER GAMING PLATFORM WHERE THEY SUCK AT EVERYTHING].

(That as my own edit because I know we are not allowed to mention other gaming platforms by name.)

When the "friendly modus" will be in beta too, that's my only question.
After, when could we play with Brittons and Japaneses?

Are you referring to Albion and Togawa from the "invaders from afar" expansion?

I am not sure we will be getting expansions here. My understanding is they do not wish to grant the licenses for their games to have expansions here on BGA.

This game is hardly functionable to play. It's probably the worst adaptation of a game on all of BGA. It's just a brutal interface and completely unenjoyable.
Devs need to scrap and start all over.

Ah yes, one game, last place, and suddenly it’s the worst adaptation ever. Truly a thorough review.

I think the interface is ok; I also think BGA (or whomever owns it, Asmodee?) should pay their developers actual employment salaries, benefits, etc. . If I read some forum posts correctly, most (all?) developers on here work as volunteers? You pay peanuts (or nothing) you get a low quality product? Hope this helps.

In what universe is BGA a "low quality product"? This site does an excellent job providing a wide variety of games with correct rules and good matchmaking.

I played Scythe mostly from my phone and it worked totally fine. Never had issues with a bug. It would be awesome to see arena mode soon for this great game.

The game has been in Beta for a long time. I wonder what the holdup is to get the game out of Beta.

For a different game, the developer here told me the game designer and producer decide when a game gets taken out of Beta. I thought that was odd. I would think a game would be out of Beta here once the developer deems the game to be mostly or entirely bug-free.
