Balance questions

Post by kongkubi »

Hi few questions
Who wins in your games more Jin or kazuya?

Do you feel their strength is on the same level?

For example kazuya rage move choices are redundant there is no reason ever to pick his fly and deal damage move it's just a trap pick

And since there will be so many characters how do you think the balance will be?
I mean there will be definitely 1 or 2 characters that are simply stronger or weaker.

Hello I think both characters (Jin and Kazuya) are actually equal, I like both the same way, when you get 2 yellow card with Jin you can deal biiig damage, and with kazuya you can play 2 yellows in a row and deal big damage as well.

For the part of Kazauya's flying RAGE, it's true that I play more the other RAGE, but the difference is primarly that in the flying rage you punch, so you can make the floor change the map and gives to you better positionating in case you are agaisnt the wall, while the other rage can't at all, so it's up to you

In my opinion, both are balanced.

Jin has a very strong knockdown power, but it's very predictable because he needs to use High or Mid cards. His combos knock down opponents and can deal a lot of damage after knocking down the opponent.
- Speaking of the first rage art, dealing damage based on the number of Yellow cards is very powerful because it's guaranteed damage. Depending on the String you use, the damage is insane.
- Speaking of the second rage art, the fact that you go to the character's back in a straight line and deal 3 damage and continue the damage with the cards, even if the character is knocked down, is also insane.

Kazuya has more cards that allow for more mix-ups because he has four cards of different colors, so he can do well with his two combos.
- Speaking of the first Rage Art, Kazuya has a Teleport with 2 damage. Imagine the scenario I've seen a lot playing with my friends. We're very ranged, as whenever you're 1 or more spaces away, you need to use a mid or low card to get close. With this Rage Art, you can use a High and use the Rage Art before Highing. I thought it was a sensational mix-up. - Speaking of the second Rage Art, the fact that it pushes the character and they take damage according to the distance spaces is very good, because in addition to throwing the opponent against the wall, they take damage from the Rage Art, in addition to performing the effect of the card used, being able to deal more damage by pushing them further into the wall or dealing damage with a punch.
