Second game finished
A real VERY VERY good job here
The game is implemented perfectly

One note to do is on
"Response Window"
I think should be anonimous
Like "waiting for players to respond"
If in any action card a see "player x" waiting i already know that he have SABOTAGE
if in any strategy selection i see "player y" waiting i know that he have the action card for block
Etc
Etc

Thanks for the job

Thank you for the kind words.

I wrote a lot of information about the Sabotage etc. situation for anyone who is curious, in the comments for these 2 reports:
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=177437
https://boardgamearena.com/bug?id=175847

The short version is:
* Players can currently bluff.
* Bluffing may get easier to enable in the future.
* Enabling bluffing for all players by default might add 1-2 months to typical game playtime, and is very unlikely to happen.
* For experienced players who want a very slow game, an option might be added in the future to turn on bluffing for everyone when making a table. Individual players could turn it back off if they want.

Just wanna chime in that I agree with everything you've said/posted about timing windows. If playing a super competitive tournament match everyone can turn on every pause at every timing window to bluff/hide information and it is what it is, but for most people the smoother defaults are much preferable.

Maybe just change the message to: "Waiting for other player(s)." like what is currently displayed during Trade sometimes.

It would not prevent you from seeing the hourglass, so it's just masking info that is public.

As far as I know BGA can't do invisible wakeups, and I think the game Werewolf had to wake everyone for the same reason to avoid identifying the werewolves.

I saw this being discussed on the developer forums for another game. One suggestion was to find the hourglass in DOM and hide it.
Victoria_La wrote: 14 February 2021, 19:36 To be able to hide who you actully waiting on you have to keep all player multiactve during this time,
but for the current player if you know he does not really have any action you just override the prompt on client side,
there is method for this on recipies wiki.
I don't know specific API to hide the hour glass but you can find it in dom and replace with something else.

I am not a moderator, but with respect, I encourage that discussion of this sort of issue-specific topic be done in replies to suggestions, like the ones linked above. This has two advantages:

1. It preserves comments and answers for posterity when another player comes along with the same question.
2. It allows the forum thread to move more slowly so it is focused on news announcements.

New faction: Naalu

This faction is about staying one step ahead of opponents.
* They are always first in initiative order, even before the player with Leadership.
* They can sell a promissory card to make an opponent first in initiative order instead, once the card is played.
* They can move their ships out to avoid combat if an opponent moves ships in.
* A faction tech makes opponents lose a fleet token if they attack Naalu.
* Their fighters are stronger than other factions, and if upgraded have half the fleet pool requirement when standing alone.
* With their flagship, fighters can temporarily help with ground combat, but still cannot win ground combat or capture on their own.

In addition, the "Unpicked Strategy Cards" button has been renamed to "All Strategy Cards" and now shows all cards for convenience.

Various bug reports have also been addressed. As always when a new faction is added, logic behind the scenes may have changed, so please watch for any bugs.

Is there a reason why the Naalu player sheet have a a different piece of art compared to the physical game?

While I am thinking of it today, I wanted to remind alpha testers that TI4 is an very long game, so please do not join games unless you feel you can commit to finishing them. An average async game may even take a month.

If you absolutely must stop a game, please talk to other players and use the "Propose to abandon the table collectively" button in the top right if needed.

BGA does not directly punish players for leaving alpha games, but it feels especially bad if someone plays for a month in TI4, only for the game to be abandoned later on. Good luck and have fun everyone!

Greetings, yes. The original art was topless, and BGA is an all-ages, international website (as you may know, even swear words are not allowed in the forum). To account for this, FFG provided new artwork by default.

The original art can be enabled in "Options -> Misc -> Naalu art style" for players who prefer.
