Need help about knocking sound, please

First of all, apologies if this topic doesn't belong here, but I didn't see where it could fit better.

Sometimes it starts to sound like someone is knocking on the door and I don't know what it means or how to avoid it. I guess for you it will be trivial, but I'm quite new and I don't know what it is. Can anyone tell me what it is? Searches I've done give me to understand that it sounds when a player joins the table, but I don't know how I should react to that, especially because I go to the table and there's nobody there.... 1000 thanks in advance.

After checking the link Bray provided, if there's any sound you don't like (some people don't like the "Clock negative alarm" sound) you can either change it or set it to "no sound" at the bottom of the menu of sounds.

Sorry, I don't think I explained myself very well. What I need to know is what to do when it knocks, where to find that table... because when I go to my list of tables, I can't find it. And if I forgot to leave the table and browsed other games, I don't remember where it might be.

So my direct question is: How can I find the table that corresponds to that notification?

It would still help us to know what event that sound corresponds to, which you can see on the sound preferences screen. I looked for it, and it isn't on mine. So maybe I changed it to something less annoying and don't remember it. But I'm not willing to reset everything to the defaults to find out.

But if it's the one assigned to "Someone joins the table," then that's an event that happens when you have an active search for players for a table. It's possible that they have left the table by the time you look.

If you click on your avatar and then on the table icon in the little menue, you should have easy acces to all of your waiting tables.

I was going to look for the table in my avatar... but it doesn't appear and the knocking continues... That's why I asked...

Knowing that it means someone new has joined the table, I'll remove it... I thought it would be something more important...
