Winning as rogue agent

Post by radagast3000 »

I just had a question, is it possible to win in this game as a rogue agent? Or controlling 4 rogue agents? I have never seen someone win, I feel like the game is so incrediby unbalanced towards the recruiter

I’ve seen just as many people complaining that the rogue agents have an overwhelming advantage. Once you get the hang of their abilities, they can home in on the recruiter terrifyingly fast. In my experience, this game is very well balanced.

Seems like this 'game ' is actually more like a rigid fixed process; where if you know how to correctly follow all the prescribed steps in the process then you 'win', and if you don't then you 'lose'.

Who are ‘you’ in this scenario? Recruiter or rogue agents? Which side do you think has a recipe for guaranteed victory?

It can feel this way in the early games against inexperienced opponents.
As the agents you should be able to figure out a recruiters location if they're taking the path of least resistance.
As the recruiter you should be able to hit 12 pretty comfortably with good use of immortals.

Once you start playing against more experienced players it becomes much harder to anticipate a player's position, and wins are never guaranteed.
But yes, if everyone followed a rigid prescribed process then whoever does that better will win.

I'm very happy to play a couple of games against you and be proven wrong though.
