DINOGENICS: The other Dinosaur Park!

Post by DrClick »

The dinosaurs are back… again. And this time, you’re in charge.
DinoGenics, the wildly thematic and competitive park-building game of dino wrangling and corporate chaos, is now available on Board Game Arena! Up to five players will compete to build the most successful dinosaur park—but only one will come out on top (preferably not trampled).

Build It. Populate It. Try Not to Get Eaten.
In DinoGenics, each player runs their own shady… er, totally reputable dinosaur park on a private island. Each season, you will send agents to the mainland to fight over precious DNA, construction materials, and the odd morally questionable upgrade.

Use your resources to:
  • Build fences and facilities
  • Create majestic (and sometimes horrifying) dinosaurs
  • Attract visitors and gain prestige
  • And most importantly: keep the dinos inside the fences.
Because nothing ruins a five-star resort like a hungry raptor on the loose.

Sure, you could go the respectable route with a nice herd of herbivores and snack stands. Or you could splice together mutant abominations in the lab, dabble in the Black Market, and hope nobody asks too many questions. It’s all legal… probably.

Will you build the next great dino-destination or end up with a park full of broken fences, lawsuits, and very disappointed tourists? Find out right now on our tutorial, or simply by clicking the link below:

Let's thank Ninth Haven Games for giving us the authorization to have this game on our platform, not forgetting the game designer Richard Keene.
Of course, no games without developer DNA involved, and this adaptation has been coded by Orh & TagGerr (and we would like to thank them for that).

That's it for your Monday release, and there are only a few days left on our SUMMER OF GAMES calendar.
Don't miss the last ones!
Until Wednesday, as always, take care and play fair!

This is a great game and I'm glad I found it here.
Can we increase number of players in Arena format?
This game is much better when played against more then 1 player...

I also concur this is a great game with great Dino art on the cards and usually I don't like worker placement games but it works with this one. I feel it's even better than the official Jurassic Park boardgame that I played before haha.

never heard of this, but I love Dino Island (also a worker placement game, which has basically the exact same concept and general description), so I'm happy to give it a try!

I am wondering why BGA has not communicated about this game before, I can see many players have played this game before today... Apparently there are dozens of games that are already available for weeks (or even months) without announcement. What is the use of releasing a game in silence? People accidentally have to find it by entering the game's name in the search bar?

It's the same for Golfie, that has just been announced. Already 9,000 games of Golfie were played on BGA before it was announced. I would like to know immediately when it's available for us.

There's a whole section with games in Beta version. Scroll down after selecting the games menu and you'll fine them all

The "use" of releasing a game hidden is to allow patient game testers to work out the programming of the game before it is released to the public. I played close to 70 games in the beta and communicated in the long-standing discord about it. There is a purpose behind it, you were notified immediately when it was available to YOU. Do you think most of the public would appreciate the scope of any new game with all the bugs that exist in a beta?
