Turn-based Arena?

Does anyone play Arena turn-based instead of live? I have tried to join/create a turn-based Arena game many times, and I've only succeeded in getting a game very rarely.

I only play Ark Nova turn-based, about 25 percent of my games are arena-games (the others are tournament-games).

It can take a while (up to hours) until a turn-based arena-game is set up. This is okay because there is no need to hurry. I select normal speed which means 4 moves per day and deny other speed options. It´s also normal that I open an arena table in the evening and logout after 30 minutes when I have done my moves in other games or finished a short real-time game (not AN). My new arena-game AN will be there next morning.

Maybe your speed options or other restrictions (like ELO-preferences) are the reasons for your problems.

Thanks, that's really helpful to hear. The system says the time to find a game will be ~1m, so when I leave it open for 5-10m and don't find a game I wonder if something is wrong. Knowing it can take hours resets my expectations.

All my Arche Nova games are turnbased. Sometimes it takes a little time to find someone but I'm patient...

I am looking for a new arena turn-based game for 6 hours now!
Maybe there is a problem at the moment. Others facing the same thing?

An hour ago I opened an arena-table and had some looks at my already running games. It must have been within the first 30 minutes when the arena-game started. So no problem at all, everything runs as it should be.

it's really easy to find a turnbased game, none-arena or arena. Check that your search settings aren't too restrictive.

Thanks JD! I checked my settings and it turned out that they were too restrictive. Of course, it took a little while to FIND my settings, but that's another story

I always play turn-based Arena because it's too easy to get interrupted during a real-time game! You'll be lucky to get a game with me since I rarely win, but I really enjoy the game anyway.
