Does BGA offer an API?

Greetings,

me and my board game buddies always find ourselves wondering what to play next. There is always discussions and decision paralysis, which takes forever. So i came up with the idea to write a Website or Discord Bot that does the deciding for us. For example find a game none of us has ever played but rankes quiet highly in the popularity list. Or pick a random game all if us have at least 100 plays in. And so on, you get the idea.

So does BGA offer some public or paid API, where i can get all the player and game data required?
I could just crawl it from BGA, but i think that would be rather Impolite.

Or maybe someone else already came up with something and i just dont know?

There is no API.

The game search on the game page has some dice and a go to random game function. That should sounds like a lot less effort for finding a new game to try.
