How to set “Friendly” game

Post by Joe_McCool »

Playing Azul with some friends and we needed to cancel the game. I saw a post here that said in that situation, you can set the game up as a friendly game so there are no penalties if someone has to leave. In our next game, I looked all over and couldn’t find's that setting. Can someone please explain how to do this? Thanks, Joe

Assuming you are starting the game from the main Azul page, slide the slider under "Game speed" all the way to left (over the infinity symbol).

That's one option. The other one is to mutually agree to Abandon the game. You can do this via the hamburger menu in the top right corner of a "normal" game in play.

Language is a source of misunderstanding. (Antoine de Saint-Exupery: The Little Prince) But it is also the source of understanding - it all depends on how you use it. :-)
